David Weemhoff

I am the campus pastor at Faith Church's Cedar Lake Campus. One awesome wife and four fun kids.

My name is Dave Weemhoff and I am the campus pastor of Faith Church's Cedar Lake campus. My wife Karla and I were charged with developing and leading this new campus in the fall of 2006. We will launch in September of 2007! We have surrounded ourselves with a tremendous core team that has prayed and planned for this new campus for the last 10 months. We are pumped to see lives changed by this local church called Faith!

I graduated from Trinity Christian College in 1996 with a degree in history and secondary education. Go Trolls! I taught at Chicago Christian High School for nine years. While at CCHS, I taught World History and US Government. I coached the varsity soccer team for six years, the varsity baseball team for 1 year, the student council for three years, and the mock trial team for three years. All of these experiences taught me so much!

As I transitioned my career path into the children's ministry at Faith Church, I sensed that this is where God wanted to use me. After an enjoyable year in the children's ministry, God called Karla and me into a new role...campus directors of the new Cedar Lake campus. As we launch this new campus, we are focused on reproducing Faith Church in another location. Our mission is clear: Reach the disconnected and grow the connected in Christ.

Karla and I have three girls and a boy that we love and a cat that I put up with. We like to play games, eat, ride bikes and laugh together.
