There are some incredible opportunities developing at Faith-Cedar Lake for you to be involved. I am excited to see how God will work in and thru these things. Check them out:
1. I have been urged by several men of Cedar Lake to start a men's discipleship group. It has been reinforced in my soul and I am excited to study the gospel, raise up leaders and strengthen the spiritual growth of men in the church. Join us every Thursday morning at 6AM in the CAC. As we grow, we will consider adding other times to fit other schedules. Get in the game.
2. We are excited and a little scared about starting a middle school aged, youth group! We are in the planning stages adn we will kick it off with a huge party at the CAC on Tuesday night, May 24 from 6:30-8:30PM. We want to see many kids gets plugged in. We need adults who are interested in mentoring and coaching young people. We need people that have a passion to reach the disconnected! Get in the game.
3. The CAC will be hosting an Art Show for Hanover Public Elementary school students. The art teacher at Hanover is putting this on and needs some help with hosting the event, setting it up and taking it down. What an opportunity for Faith to serve and connect with the community! It will happen on Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14. Let me know if you can help! Get in the game.
4. Throughout the year, we will need to be mobile and agile on weekends. CLM has some large groups under contract and we will need to worship elsewhere on certain weekends. Memorial Day weekend will be the first one. We are working through the details and it will be a cool experience...think outdoor worship!
